Kala(Art) Kuwait “NIRAM 2022” Children’s Day painting competition powered by ‘BYJUS Learning App’, in association with American Tourister and Aspire Indian International School has concluded with the prize distribution to all winners at a colorful ceremonial function held at Aspire Indian International School, Abbasiya on Friday, 9th December 2022. The program was witnessed by Community Leaders, Business Personalities, School Principals, Art Teachers, Parents and Media Representatives. The Painting competition was held on 18th November 2022 the occasion of the birthday of late Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of Independent India.
Mr. Salem Khaled Al Jumaian, Chairman Jumaian Group, has inaugurated the function. During the inaugural speech, Mr. Salem Khaled appreciated all winners for their fabulous painting works, which were displayed at the entrance and appreciated the organizers for conducting such programs.
The spectacular evening started with the National Anthem of Kuwait followed by India. The welcome speech was addressed by Mr. Rakesh P. D. General Secretary, Kala (Art) Kuwait. Organization President Mr. Jaison Joseph Chaired the function. NIRAM-2022 program reporting done by General Convener Mr. Ajith Kumar and Judging Assessment was briefed by Niram-2022 Judge Mr. Sasi Krishnan.
While this year marks the 18th anniversary of the Color Program and Kala(Art) Kuwait honored the fellows Mr. Mukesh V. P. and Mr. Sadik K., who worked for the success of last 18 years with Niram.
The program was enriched by the presence of the chief dignitaries on the dais, Mr. Toby Mathew, Director, Aspire Indian School, Mr. Muhammed Haris, director, Lulu Group, Mr. Sarfaraz Ahmad, Lulu Exchange, Mr. Abu Tajuddin Maruf, Badr Al-Samaa, Mr. Ohman, Marketing, Faber Castle, Mr. Azeez, AGM, Joy Alukkas Exchange, Mr. Sajin, Hala Hospital, Mr. Shyjith, KDA, Kala(Art) Kuwait office bearers Mrs. Jyothi Sivakumar, Mr. Sisitha Gireesh, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Siva Kumar, Mr. Aneesh, and Mr. Rijo.
The 18th Anniversary souvenir of “NIRAM“ was released by Mr. Mathew Koshy, Medical Director, Hala Hospital by handing over the first copy to Ambili Rakegsh and Johney Kumar. Niram-2022 Judges Artists Sasikrishnan, Sunil Kulanada, M. V. John and Hari Chengannur were honored by Kala (Art) Kuwait by giving away mementos in recognition of their laudable contributions in the field of Arts. Kala (Art) Kuwait presented mementos to Mrs. Aneecha Shyjith, Mrs. Anzeen Ayoob & Mr. Jeeves Erinjery for their tremendous support in compeering the event. Kala (Art) Kuwait Treasurer Ashraf Vithura thanked the guests and audience. Then the prizes to all the group winners were presented by the dignitaries
It is noteworthy that a total of 2822 students from 24 Indian schools in Kuwait have participated in the competition classified into 5 groups and the prizes were distributed among, Five 1st Prizes in to each group, Seven 2nd Prizes, Ten 3rd prizes, 71 Merit Prizes and 201 consolation prizes (Total 294 Prizes). The first place winners of each group received a Gold coin & Gold medal, Second place winner with silver medal and Third place winner with bronze medal apart from memento, certificate and AMERICAN TOURISTER Sponsored Bag. Merit Prize & Consolation Prize winners received Trophy, Certificate.
Kala (Art) Kuwait has thanked all the participants as well as School Managements, Sponsors, All Indian Associations, Kuwait's English dailies, Web Portals and Malayalam Medias for their wholehearted support to make the event a grand success. Also thanked the Parents and Art Teachers for their cooperation and support and to the management of Aspire Indian International School, Abbasiya.
